TRAINING WITH PAWSITIVITY

Do you want to get some help with your furry friend, but feel like you just don’t have the time? The Day Training takes both a hands-on and a hands-off approach to dog training. With two one -hour private sessions scheduled each week, for two weeks, I will come to your home and tutor your furry friend personally. After the completion of our two weeks, I meet with you and your pup in a private session to review and transfer the skills we worked on.

SKILLS:

Sit. Down. Settle. Sit for pets. Wait. Stay. Heel. Focus. Place. Loose leash walking. Door dashing. Recall/Come. Basic obedience. Or any skills that stop working around distractions or with the dog at a distance.

CONSULTATION REQUIRED PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT.   Dog must be current on required vaccinations.

PRICE: $280

Do you want to master the leash and all it entails? From leash introductions to perfecting loose leash walking, these sessions maintain any currently preset skills, while also building confidence and trust.

These sessions are for everyone, no matter their learning level. Lessions include 15 mnutes of leash up/ lesh off and practice door manners. Alng side a 45 minute educatoinal and excersise walk.

During these one-on-one sessions, you get personalized attention and training sessions tailored to whatever your needs might be.

This is puppy’s first group class! As we learn more about the world around us, this class focuses on socialization in safety, building firm foundation skills. - TOPICS include: Socialization, Canine Communication, Pawsitive Reinforcement, Crate Training, Stranger Danger- SKILLS: Come, Focus, Sit,  Wait/Stay, Settle/Down, Leave It, Drop it, Socializing on Leash, a complete comprehension of Loose Leash Walking Skills and SO much more!- For puppies 9 weeks to 5 months- must be current on all vaccinations for their age

 6 weeks, one hour group sessions- Meets all qualifications for AKC STAR Puppy! Test included!- $299

This group class is for all the Beginners! From a newly rescued furry friend, a teenager that could use some basics, or anyone wanting more communication with your furry friend! We focus on setting teaching basics,  while also meeting their needs. - TOPICS include: Bordom Busters, Leash Pulling, Chewing, Resource Guarding, Noise Phobias, Separation anxiety, Counter Surfing, and Barking.- SKILLS: Come, Focus, Sit, Paws Off, Wait, Settle Down, Leave It, Drop it, Socializing on Leash, a complete comprehension of Loose Leash Walking Skills, and a lot more!- For any dog over 5 months of age.- 

6 weeks, one hour group sessions- $299

PREREQUISITE: Pass Elementary skills or comprehensive skills-

 Does your furry friend has some basic skills, but they just don’t seem to “stick” when you need them to? Does he see another dog and all bets are off? Or she only listens when you are holding a treat right in front of her nose? This class improves upon ELEMENTARY skills by bringing them into the real world. Adding more reliability with distances. Improving response frequency while near distractions. And increasing the duration of settle, sit, and wait/stay. - SKILLS: Stay, Place, Heel, Calm Greetings, Recall With Distractions, Wait at the Door, and a lot more!- NOTE: Some classes take place in public settings.

 6 weeks, one hour group sessions- $299 

 PREREQUISITE: Pass Fundamentals or comprehensive skills- This class improves on what Fundamentals built. In this class we improve reliability in all situations and phase out using treats as a primary reinforcement. As we prepare to take AKC’s Canine Good Citizen test, we will build and test real world skills. - SKILLS: Sit for Polite Petting, walking through a crowd, long distance recall, stay w/ Distance and Distractions, greeting other People with Dogs, and Supervised Separation- Class includes one Canine Good Citizen Test taken at graduation! - NOTE: Some classes take place in public settings!

 6 weeks, One hour group sessions- $200
